“Rhythm City” actress HlubiMboya and long-term beau Kirsten Arnold finally tied the knot on Saturday.
The couple opted for a lavish Xhosa traditional wedding, with a Scottish touch, as diarised by older sister Kuli Roberts on social media.
Mboya was the picture perfect Xhosa bride with her multi-layered doek and monochrome layers, with Arnold donning a modern kilt and formal evening wear.
The bride later changed into an embellished off-the-shoulder feather gown.
Roberts was not the only famous face at the wedding, the sisters’ cousin and 5fm DJ Thomas Msengana was also in attendance.
Newly-minted Selimathunzi presenter KhanyaMkangisa was also spotted, along with Mboya’s Rhythm City co-star Ntando Duma and former Isidingo leading man Brandon Auret.
Earlier this year, Mboya
"I’m a traditionalist at the end of the day. I’m Xhosa, you know. I love bringing that back and just reminding myself, being proud and its family, and its culture."
