“first class in Harvard is nothing” after a brief hiatus during which he completed his undergraduate degree in entrepreneurship at Top 5 business schools accompanied with a first class from Harvard intensive business school course, singer, songwriter OluwatimilehinAjayi A.KA Timix is back in a big way. The Young talented Afrocentric lyricist has just recently signed to JE Records after winning the offer during the White Xmas Week 2015 singing competition.


Timix is an Afro-Alternative rapper, singer, songwriter and performing artiste who brings a breath of fresh air to the catalogue of African music. His ability to creatively tell stories, share his opinions and evoke emotions over smooth melodies and groovy rhythms singles him out in the Music Industry. With a background in Hip-Hop music, Timix has been able to merge rap music with folk-like rhythms from his Yoruba heritage resulting in an Afrocentric sound that leaves his audience mesmerized.

Influenced by such artistes as Fela, Eminem, ASA, J. Cole, Frank Ocean, Lauryn Hill, Lupe Fiasco amongst others, Timix's music has a narrative style that compliments his exploration of heartbreak, the trials of being raised by a single mother, party lifestyles, his vision for Africa, and what it means to be young and aspiring in Naija today. His first mixtape, titled #MixedBreed, was released in 2011. The songs fused 80s and 90s rhythms fused with his contemporary rap style. This brought him to the attention of A&Rs of record labels, and gained him recognition in the industry. He’s song Kowole ft. DammyKrane was a chart toper that left Nigerian and British youths begging for more.

For Timix, the artistry of making music translates to his outer projection. With a very unique sense of style, supported by his flair for fashion, he has also gained significant popularity with his female audience. His drive partly comes from seeing the impact that music can have on people and his love for evoking emotions. To this end, he has begun producing his own work, and letting out his own unique message.

In keeping with his vision, Timix also devotes his time to MIGMIE - Much Is Given Much is expected. MIGMIE is a platform headed by a team of young creatives aimed towards youth empowerment. Music is the vessel in the first phase of this plan. Timix is set to deliver more entertainment to existing fans as well as grow his fan base by consistently touring his music, spreading the MIGMIE (Much Is Given Much Is Expected) movement’s message of Love and Wisdom, and actively sharing his journey with fans via his blog and website (www.krabglobal.com) and other social media platforms.

Timix is set to release chart-topping singles this year with the full album set to drop in the first quarter of next year
