“But what they used to do then, if anybody goes outside, he would be arrested, taken before a court and he is fined. If he can pay, the money is taken and given to the farmer. If he can’t pay, the cattle is sold and the farmer is paid. So, people are behaving well.
“So, when people came and took away the land for the cattle route and grazing area, you find out that from Kaduna to Bayelsa, Nigerians are fighting cattle rearers now.
“When I was in PTF, we made a comprehensive study of cattle routes and grazing areas throughout Nigeria. So, I am referring the Governors’ Forum to it and the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. Let them see what they can do and save the situation.”On 2016 Budget implementation, he said:
“It depends on the efficiency of the technocrats. Yes, we have six months to implement the budget. You know why there was a delay. There is something called padding. I have been in government since 1975. I was governor of what is now six states: Borno, Yobe, Bauchi, Gombe, Adamawa, Taraba, that used to be North East. Then I was in Obasanjo’s cabinet, Petroleum for three and a quarter years. I was Head of State for 20 months.
“I had never heard about that one padding until this year. And what does it mean? It means that the technocrats just allowed the government to make its noise, to go and make the presentation to the National Assembly. They will remove it and put in their own.
“When we uncovered this, we just had to go back to the basics again. Ministers had to go again and appear before the Minister of Budget and National Planning and make presentations again. This was clearly brought out by the Minister of Health.
“I saw with my own eyes, nobody told me. I was watching NTA and he appeared before a committee that said the minister should come and defend his budget. He looked at what was presented to him as his budget and he said he had nothing to defend, that that was not what he presented.

Sincerely, it is a good thing to read that our president have a good
plan for this nation. One thing for sure, we want is a better nation,
let there be job opportunities, better infrastructures, food etc. Let
Nigeria be the giant we use to know.
All of these reports are giving Nigerians a hope of better nation. Action is what we want, people are going through tough time, dying of hunger, no housing for people, one tomatoes is now #100. 50% of Nigerians beg for food. We want a better nation and as fast as possible. Change is gradual process but we do not want unbearable condition before we experience the change . We hope you deliver the change as promised.

acts....
Well I will want to advice them to tell their dull brain president to be very sure of what he is about to do because we know how his campaign was funded and the people behind it so when naming the looters ...please don't forget to include your campaign funders or else you will loose the remaining credibility you have got even though I know that a coward will always be a coward.....God bless Nigeria...we are done compiling our credible names and their bank transactions....enough is enough

God Bless this President for his honesty. Only people with evil mindset
and that don't mean well for Nigeria will always hate this Gos sent man.
To the extent that Bring back our corruption was trending on social
media. We really need to check our thinking and mindset especially the
youths of today who have so much venom and hate against Mr President. If
the only thing this President fights for 4 or 8 years by grace of God, I
am a fulfilled Nigerian. It will be a deterrent to other
looters.There's no point whipping up sentiments like witch hunting,
tribal or religious sentiments bcos the fight has to start somewhere and
gradually extend across board with time. 145 /litre will still reduce
with competition and time, there's no point paying importers billions of
naira every month instead of building refineries and if u try to
convince people about it , it will never happen so now is the best
time.People are gradually scared to steal now in Nigeria and corruption
has always been our major challenge. The Ndigbo's should also stpp their
hating against Buhari bcos i assure them that they will be the major
losers should the president fail. They still have a lot to learn and
gain under a united Nigeria but they will suffer if they quickly part
ways to stay under their oppresive leaders.God bless Buhari!, God bless
