Documentary 'Lagos to London: Britain's New Super Rich'
aired over six days ago and it featured super rich Nigerians living in
Britain. Luxury Designer, Alexander Amosu was among those included and a
racist white woman named Ruth Hunt seemed to have a problem with it.
Alexander shared the racist message he got and advised people not to
allow such negativity stop them from succeeding in Life. He wrote,
'I normally don't respond to comments but Ruth wanted my attention. Am amazed in 2016 people still have these views and use the N word. She just mad cause she don't have an Amosu Diamond blackberry. Never let other people words stop you from achieving your full potential and never let their problems become yours!'
- Watch the comments here as people rush to attack the woman. But the same
people are guilty in their own way. We label all people from the north
terrorists and cows. We call people from the east ritualists and money
lovers. We term people from the west dirty and loud. And I ask us, what
makes us different from this woman?
The truth is, there is good and bad in every person, nation, in every race, and in every religion. To hear someone say that all the people that belong to a certain country, race, or religion are bad — is extremely untruthful and makes the person making the statement lose credibility right away. We are all flawed and even nature is flawed. Nobody is perfect, and no country, race or religion is perfect. Duality and polarity are imprinted in everything in nature — in all humans, and even within ourselves. For example, there are those who are ignorant, and those who are wise.
This woman's comment is racist yes, and so are the many comments Nigerians say in respect to their fellow country men/women
