Manchester United defender Guillermo Varela has joined Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt on a season-long loan deal.
The Uruguayan International joined Manchester United in 2013 from Penarol and he was David Moyes’s First signing.
The player posted a picture on his Facebook page holding the jersey of the Bundesliga club with the caption, ‘New adventure’.
Varela spent the 2013/14 campaign on loan at Real Madrid Castilla
He made 11 appearances for the Premier League giants last season under Louis van Gaal but new Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly identified Varela surplus to requirements in his plans for the Red Devils.
Frankfurt finished 16th in the Bundesliga last season and will be hoping to secure Varela on a permanent transfer next summer.
