Britain's synchronised diving pair are among the medallists but Team GB's male gymnasts and women's rugby team miss out.
Team GB has added two more medals to its earlier gold and silver, in a successful third day at the Rio Olympics.
Britons Tom Daley, 22, and Daniel Goodfellow, 19, won
Team GB's second bronze for their performance in the men's 10m
synchronised diving competition. The pair said they had not even expected to qualify for Rio, having worked together for under a year.
Daley described the tense wait for confirmation of their scores, saying: "It was an agonising wait that felt like it was an eternity.
"We were stood there and knew we had done a good dive but we didn't know if we'd done enough.
"It was just one of those moments where I knew how I would feel if it came up on the scoreboard that we finished fourth, and I knew how I would feel if we finished third.
"We were just waiting and waiting with replay after replay, then all of a sudden the scores came up, I pounced on Dan and I don't think he was quite ready for it and then before we knew it we were back in for a top bombing seventh dive."
The pair finished behind China and the USA.
Their success followed Taunton farmer Ed Ling, who blasted his way to a bronze medal, beating Czech David Kostelecky in the men's trap shooting.
The 33-year-old, who is coached by his father Steven on the family farm, missed out on glory at the Athens and London Olympics but clinched his first Games medal with his performance at Rio.
Ling said that his performance, which was watched by Princess Anne, had been a "long time coming".
"It was nice to go straight from the shoot-off to the bronze medal match because you stay in the zone and stay focused on what is in front of you," Ling said.
"I think this is great for shooting. It is also another medal for Team GB which is fantastic and hopefully there is a lot more to come."
The medallist will soon be back to reality as he is likely to return to the UK in the next few days to help look after the family farm.
However, there was disappointment in Rio for Team GB's men's gymnastics team and the women's rugby sevens, both beaten into fourth place.
Swimmer James Guy also came fourth in the men's 200m freestyle swimming.
