Kano grants N167.5b for Kanawa monetary city development

The Kano State Government has marked a N167. 508 billion concurrences with an indigenous organization, Brian and Hammers Ltd., for the development of Kanawa Economic City, arranged at Dangwauro in the edges of the state capital. 

The venture, which will be executed in 72 months, will be fell in three stages and will suit a world Trade Center, Educational Institute, Light industrial facilities, 160 super warehousing offices, banks, a center and trailer stops notwithstanding other helper foundation. Talking amid a brief service at the Government House in Kano, the State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, clarified that "the noteworthiness of the Kano Economic City means that the present organization is focused on the upgrade of our advertising and business structures with the arrangement of cutting edge offices and other infrastructural offices as streets to ease vehicular transportation and also development of merchandise."

In his comments, the Managing Director, Brian and Hammers, Malam Umar Abdullahi, said the choice of the organization to work with the legislature of Kano State on the venture depends on the unequivocal assurance of the Ganduje organization to enhance human and infrastructural advancement of the state. 

He guaranteed that his organization would convey a world class office that would supplement the state's part as a noteworthy business operational hub of the whole West African sub-area. 

Highlights of the event incorporated the presentation of Certificate of Occupancy of the 121 hectares of land to the venture designers, saw by Senators Barau I. Jibrin (Kano North), Senator Kabiru Gaya (Kano South) and the Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, Alhasan Ado Doguwa, among other dignitaries.The establishment laying service of the venture is relied upon to be performed by President MuhammaduBuhari next January.
