A Man Akeem Sanni Arraigned For Pushing His Neighbour Oriyomi Jimoh Off Storey-Building
For allegedly pushing off his neighbour off a story-building, Mr. Akeem Sanni has been asked to bail himself out of police custody with the sum of N50, 000 and two sureties.
The Ebute Meta Chief Magistrate’s Court told the accused who lives on a street in Ebute Metta West to remain in police cell pending when he fulfills the bail condition.
Sanni was arraigned before the court and he is currently facing trial on a charge of assault causing bodily harm to one Mr. Oriyomi Jimoh.
According to the prosecutor, Sergeant Maria Dauda, the accused, Mr. Sanni pushed down Mr. Jimoh sometimes in May for allegedly tapping electric current from his residence without paying him.
He said that the offence amounts to assault and attempt murder and is liable for prosecution. The trial has since been adjourned to November 1, 2016.
