Two people are in hospital after their car smashed into a bungalow in North Tyneside, leaving two massive holes in the side of the property.
A person living at the address suffered shock, but was otherwise unhurt, after the red Vauxhall Astra ploughed into the home.
Images of the smash showed the vehicle on its side on a grassed area, with two large holes in the brickwork of the house.
Northumbria Police is investigating the crash, which happened at around 10.15am on Wednesday in Dudley Lane, Seaton Burn.
The force said the injuries of the two occupants of the car were not thought to be serious.
They were treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to Cramlington Hospital.
Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service said the property was in a partial state of collapse and a specialist Urban Search and Rescue Crew was at the scene.
The car appeared to have gone through a small wooden fence before hitting the bungalow.
Any witnesses or anyone with information can call police on 101.
