This picture of five-year-old Syrian kid Omran Daqneesh stunned the world and highlighted how terribly the war in Aleppo, Syria can influence youngsters. 

Picture taker Mahmoud Raslan imparted his story to The Syria Campaign. 

"I live only 300 meters from the assault. Soon after 7pm after the night petitions we heard the blasts," he said. 

"The main thing I saw were three bodies on the ground being conveyed into a rescue vehicle. Those were the neighbors of Omran's family. The building was completely pulverized — every one of the six stories were currently rubble.
